The Problem This Solution Solves
With rapidly increasing numbers of EVs and ownership models both for government fleet and personal vehicles, there is a growing need to proliferate fast charging within DoD and on military installations beyond Level 2 chargers and various styles of recovering charging infrastructure costs through services with all-inclusive and predictable support prepaid.
The Solution
TechFlow Inc delivered and installed forty-six (46) Level 2 (7.6kW max power) and four (4) Level 3 (150kW max power) charging stations at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton as well as delivered and installed ten (10) Level 2 (7.6kW max power) and four (4) Level 3 (150kW max power) charging stations at Naval Base San Diego. Government Owned Vehicles (GOV) and Personally Owned Vehicles (POV) users can access the chargers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Level 2 chargers are adequate for GOVs to charge overnight and Level 3 charges are adequate for POVs to charge in less than an hour. POV charging is at the expense of the owner and not the Government. Additionally, TechFlow Inc. will perform grid upgrades at Camp Pendleton which are necessary to meet high power requirements associated with Level 3 charging.
