Mark Zakner

Major Mark Zakner is a contracting officer for Next Generation Overhead Persistent Infrared space systems portfolio with Space Force Program Executive Office for Space Sensing, Space Systems Command, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California. He also serves as deputy chief of contracting division with 30 acquisition professionals and $23 billion space missile warning contracts portfolio. Major Zakner’s defense acquisition experience includes major space systems, enterprise sourcing, foreign military sales, global supply chain management and installation operations support. He has held contracting officer appointments with Department of the Air Force, Defense Contract Management Agency and Department of the Army domestically and overseas.
